For example, the average motorcycle is around 6 feet long and 2.5 feet wide. If your bike fits within this size range you would be able to get away with using an 8’ by 8’ shed and still have 30-36” for a walkway on the sides of your bike. That walkway is important for ease of use and your safety.  If you have a longer bike (like a Harley Davidson) you’d need to invest in an 8’ x 10’ shed to comfortably store it.

However, look at the above diagram and you’ll see that a shed that small is going to be tight. So, if you have plans to store anything else in there then you’ll need to go bigger.
